Struts and JDBC examples

I am new to struts and have been reading the Holmes' Struts book but there are no JDBC examples in that book and I cannot find any examples from Google searches. Does anyone know of a good learning app that uses Struts with JDBC?

you can check the orielly matering in jakarta struts.
in that book they have given good example.
