HI Everybody,

I have just included a new atribute to HibernateGenericDAO, the transaction.

Why?

Because i need use a trasaction to commit all the modification about a group directly in an user.

Has anyone against it?

The transaction code wasn't supposed to be in a filter, or something like that?

Why do you need to commit the transaction there? It does not make much sense.

Could you explain what are you trying to accomplish?

I agree with Rafael. We must make sure that this is done the right way. It's here Spring can help us a lot.

We need to discuss this further.

I can go in detail later. See:

I was talking to Nico, a developer of VRaptor, and it's possible to make a annotation to put on methods of the logic's, so with this we can write a annotation that start's and commit a transaction

Sounds interesting, at least.

As now we're starting to focus on JForum 3, a lot of issues should be addressed, like the use - or not - of Spring, for example.
