setting permissions on forum creation with jforum 2.1.7

Hi,

I have the 2.1.7 beta installed, wich is going to be released very soon. When i create a new forum i select the read-only permission for the group "general"(still on the forum creation screen).
But the permissions that i set are not beind applied! I can fix it when i go to the groups permission screen and set it there, but i'd rather do it right away when i create the forum.
Maybe this is a bug or something?

It may be a bug, if it never works from the forum creation page.
