new forums

Hi, i just got jforum installed, and logged in as admin.
I wanted to create a new forum, it asked for a catagory, so i went to create a new catagory, it wanted a group, so i went to create a group, which i did.

I see the group listed after i created it. Great.
Went to create a catagory, i did, but it didn't list, and tried two more times.

So went back to create a forum and in the catagory list i can see the ones i tried to create, so i selected one, and created the forum, but it doesn't show up in the admin forums list.

So i go to the forums index page its not there listed. However when i go to the table and select on the forums table, its listed.
Any ideas?

disregard, i think its a privilege thing, i'm not used to, i'm starting to see the issue.
