There are upgrade scripts for some older version of JForum .. i.e. 2.1.4.

If you are upgrading from 2.1.4, you have to upgrade to 2.1.6, then upgrade to 2.1.7.

Have you tried running both of the upgrade scripts?

is there any way i can transfer older data i have used with previous source of jForum with new one.

Earlier we have used some older version where database structure was bit different.
Now in new Jforum source after modiying authentication and default jforum-config filei am facing some errors.when debugged the database has been modified now.
user_biography column has been added in jforum_categories table.

so at runtime i am gettimg many exceptions because many values are kept like encoded ones.

eg:e50d4c7aa0c8293a3d3931080b44b4e1 which either i sholud remove manually.
or i have to add extra values with modification in script and insertion values.

please provide me help on this so that i can make my migration from older to new jforum as soon as possble.

thanks
Vijendra
