What is [ Administrator ] [ Moderator ] in the Who is online section?

What is [ Administrator ] [ Moderator ] in the "Who is online" section on the front page?

[ Administrator ] is orange color
[ Moderator ] is green color

Both are not html links, just text.

Is it just a way to distinguish the regular users from the "special" ones.

To clarify further, the [Administrator][Moderator] is a color legend for the Connected Users list which is a couple of lines lower on the page. Any usernames that are in the Administrator color (i.e. orange) are, well, Administrators! Same for the moderators.

These colors are configurable too.
