Has anybody done any load/performance testing to understand how much traffic, or concurrent user sessions, that a single Intel server can support? We are planning to deploy jforum on a 2proc/2 core server, and are doing some capacity planning.

Thanks.

I haven't seen any "formal" load testing results. I think lazee might have some large site experience with this.

Of course, it wouldn't be that hard to use something like jMeter ( http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/ ) to create a user load script and do some semi-formal testing.

Feel free to contribute any scripts you develop back to the community!
