Hi,
I'm researching the possible use of JForum for a customer that wants some forum/discussion capabilities for an existing web site. Is there any reason JForum cannot be installed into an existing web application?
I would highly prefer to add the webapp classes, pages, etc. into an existing sub-directory of webapps in Tomcat (rather than making it its own web application)

Thanks,
Markus

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't have any name conflicts with servlets, directories, and the like.

One thing to be aware of is that you will have to keep the same directory structure from the webapp root down. You can not create a jforum subdirectory in your existing webapp root and put the jForum files there. jForum will not find them.
