Hello, I'm a newbie with jforum administration, and it is probably an easy answer, but how do I set my forums to disallow posting for anonymous?
I didn't see anywhere to disallow anonymous

Look in the Admin Console, under Groups, then Permissions next to the General group.

Highlight the forums you want to NOT allow anonymous postings in.

Save settings.

That's it!

What is the admin console URL? I put sso on forums so the user is logged in through the app. I've tried to reverse engineer the URLs but I'm not having much luck. thx!

A link to this shows up at the bottom of the forums if the user logged on is a member of a group that has administration privileges.

If you're having problems accessing it with SSO, just knowing the URL won't help. You will probably need to temporarily disable SSO and log in as the admin created when it was installs. Then use the Admin link to add one of your SSO users to the admin group. Then when you turn SSO back on, this user will be a jForum admin.
