I get the attached error.

Do I need to manually setup the hsql DB?

If so, where do I locate the DB?

Or should the install.jsp setup the DB?

I really would like to use JForum because it fits into the framework I am using.

Please help

I believe that the distribution may not contain the HSQL jar. Try downloading the latest and putting it in your WEB-INF/lib directory.

Download the file https://jforum.dev.java.net/source/browse/*checkout*/jforum/WEB-INF/lib/hsqldb-1.8.0.1.jar?rev=1.1 and put it inside your WEB-INF/lib directory, then try again.
