Hi,

I am getting the following error when using the wiard to install JForum:

Error while trying to configure the database. Please check if parameters like username, password and host are correct and try again.

Error Raised: org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver

Can someone help? I am providing no password on the install screen.

Thanks,
Gunjan

Hi

You need the hsqldb.jar file to be put in your webapps/jforum/WEB-INF/lib directory. This is part of the hsqldb distribution from www.hsqldb.org.

Please refer to my posts, and replies from Monroe, for more information.

Regards

Gary

Thanks a ton. I had taken the JAR but placed it in an incorrect location.

Cheers,
