Not sure what you mean by "keywords replacement" feature . Can you expand on what you mean?

FWIW, AFAIK, the jforum_words table is used only for the search feature.

hey monroe ,

thanks for the quick reply.........yaaa by keyword replacement i mean......like in some forums we observe that when the user types just google( i.e even without using the url tags and enabling the html format) the word appears in a different colour and has a hyperlink attached(i dont know what this feature is called actually so i called it keyword replacement).....i thought we can specify a word list where we give a keyword and its replacement (i.e a url or whatever)........i think you got what i meant.......if not please reply so that i can be more specific the next time.......

............to be more specific what i am talking about is instead of mentioning http://www.google.com rel="nofollow">google to give the hyperlink for google....is there a way where the user simply types google and it gets attached to a hyperlink automatically if i mention some keywords and the links they should be hyperlinked to in some file or table etc..........

You can use the bb_config.xml file to set up stuff like this. This defines how text in posts will get replaced. Mostly for the [xxx]...[/xxx] bb codes but it is also used to do autolinks for urls that are just typed in.

FWIW, there is a google bb code already define to generat a google search for key words, e.g. jforum.
