Hi,
We have migrated from our old forum into jforum including all messages. We have inserted topics and post directly into database. Everything looks fine but search doesn't work for imported messages for new one works fine. I suppose it creates some kind of search index for new posts which wasn't created for posts inserted into database directly. Can i refresh somehow this search index? Any other suggestion how to solve this problem?

Thanks for any help
Palko

There is a tool you can use:

https://jforum.dev.java.net/source/browse/jforum/tools/searchIndexer/

It's a command line tool, that reads your database and indexes it.

As of JForum 2.1.8, we are supporting Lucene, which will be much better than the current search implementation.
