Global entry in template

Hi,
I understood you can add new variables that will be utilized inside the template with the $(<variable>) syntax adding them thru the this.context.put function in the corresponding java page.
I need that the variable will be rendered in the header.htm for the entire site, is there a way to make it global?

There are two places you could do this.

The best place is to modify the prepareTemplateContext method in the ControllerUtils class.

Alternatively, you can modify the service method in the JForum servlet code.
