I am installing JForum on Windows XP Pro with Tomcat 5.5.25 and cannot get the graphics for the smilies to display.

I went throught the manual install. At first I did NOT update forum link in SystemGlobals.properties and therefor could not display any images. Once I put the appropriate value into forum link, I was able to display most images including those for any of the buttons (like 'New Topic', etc.) - however smilies still don't display.

If I log in as Admin and go to the smilies maintenance window, the correct file names are all listed. I am able to 'add' a new smilie, but the image for the new smilie can't be displayed either.

Anyone have any ideas where I should start looking to make this work?

I have no patience. I deleted the entire jforum directory in TomCat, re-downloaded jforum-2.1.7-b3 and ran the automated install. Everything works beautifully now! I must have missed something during the manual installation.

Thanks!
