Hi All, I'm wondering if there's any commercial support for JForum? My company is planning to use JForum for their forum application and they are wondering if there's any support package.

Can someone help me with this info please... Thank you.

My guess is that there's no commercial support, yet a quite active community as you can see by the forum here.

If you require a forum with commercial support and nice features, I may have to recommend having a look at "Jive". Sadly it's quite expensive too, with yearly costs .. but you therefore have full support, and get patches right away with instructions on how to apply the patch to your system....

... if however you do have someone that is familiar with java, I think the community may be suitable too. If you face an issue you normally get a reply on where to look within 24 hours ... But of course no ready-to-use implementation for your problem right away ;)

Hi Sid. Thanks for the information. My company's main criteria is to have an open source forum, so the vote still goes to JForum. If there's any support my company would like to consider, that's why I'm searching as much info as I can. Thanks for the tip

Hi christinedy,
Where is your company? I think you can contact with Rafeal for the Official Commercial Support. This could be a good model of Open Source business: The code is free and the support has fee.

I wish to win the lottery. I wish for a lovely piece of pie. And I wish for a tiny ad:
