Hi,

Some of our users are posting links like www.domain.com/user and forgetting to put the http:// prefix on. They are not even using the [url] tags, but are relying on the automatic parsing feature of JForum. However, when this is parsed by JForum, it results in an error, as the software seems to think that the address is located within the host environment, and the address is parsed as /jforum/posts/list/www.domain.com/user

Is there any way to correct this, so that it will automatically be parsed as if there were an http:// prefix there? Or would that cause something else to break? Is this just a case of teaching the users to make proper use of the [url] tags?

Take a look at the regular expression in the file bb_config.xml. In version 2.1.8, it looks correct:

Awesome, thanks Rafael, I've passed that on to our admins.
