Notification emal and Forum permission

I created a forum only for certain group can access, however, everyone who is subscribed to "notification for all new messages" is getting notification from this forum even though they have no permission to view.

Is this a bug- or something I am missing?
I am using Jforum 2.1.7

Although users aren't able to see the forums, the subscribe feature indeed has this little flaw. We expect to fix it in a future release.
