we (our IT - company) made a evaluation for the Jforum and its nice.
So that we decided that we want use these opensource software ... We tested the forum under JBOSS and using a Orcale DB.

We found some issues with the SQLs for the Orcale Database, also RSS Feeds, and so on... often i found some entries for these issues in Bug tracking tool. We fixed some of these bugs in the code.... we think, it is a nice idea that we want take part to development and want give you the fixed sources -- because it could be nice -- because we fixed some issues and so the idea its that we want give you the fixed sources....

So the question how we can support you and can take part in the development team? And perhaps how can we have access to the CVS and so? I think, it would be good idea that we will share our knowledge and will improve the jforum....

Also we are interested to take part in development of new features for forum and new version of Jforum...

For these issues, you can attach the patch file to the correspondent Jira issue.. that's a good start. Currently I'm working on JForum3 - which, so far, it's getting refactored every day, in order to build the foundations so other developers can start working on it.
