We're considering moving an existing forum to JForum. A biggie for us is the issue of requiring distinct first and last names. Those fields seem to be in the User object, but apparently they aren't used anywhere ... ?

Or could first and last names be displayed while hiding the login name?

Also, since often people register with what we consider inappropriate user names we ask them to change it. That doesn't seem to be possible out of the box; can it be configured somehow?
