Categories and forum names won't show up in admin panel

I have created a few categories and forums associated with those categories. When I am logged in to the admin panel the screen is blank - with no categories or forums listed for me to edit. When I log out and view the forums as a regular user I can see all of the categories and forum names. I need to edit these, but can't figure out how to access them through the admin panel. Any thoughts?

I figured it out - I had to change permission for the admin group!
