I have set the jforum on my machine and got it working.

While working on the email configuration , I see that there is no option to send an email ( to a admin configured email address ) whenever a new topic is posted .

Is there a workaround or am I missing something here ?

Thanks
Udaya

There is not way to globally and automatically do this. However, you can log in as the admin, go to the forums of interest and "watch" it. Assuming all your SMTP info is set up correctly, you will get an e-mail for new topics in watched forums.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
