Hi There,

Sometimes, it out put some error information on the page, like Expression XXXX is undefined on line 123..., is there a way to disable the information and show some generic error page?

Thanks,

Lynn

Not sure if it will help or not, but there is a "development" init parameter on the main jforum servlet in the web.xml. By default this is true. I seem to remember that setting it to false MAY turn off some extra error info. But I haven't wandered thru the error code to figure out what it really does.

The only way is probably to modify the code. The areas to look at are the JForum class methods:

processCommand (the template.process call there)
handleException
handleFinally

and maybe the ExceptionWriter class.

Since this error is coming from FreeMarker, there may be a way in FreeMarker to this.
