Log4j insn't creating logs for jforum

I have 2.1.8 installed but the logging is not working. The file mention in the log4j configuration isn't created. I didn't change the default log4j configuration.

The only log I can see is my AS (tomcat 5.5): deploying the forum, lucene indexer and session facade!

During the deployment I see this line:

Anyone has the same issue?

It is WEB-INF/log4j.xml. Put it there (one comes with JForum) and it should work.
