Hi folks

I have downloaded and done a manual installation of jforum as instructed here : http://www.jforum.net/install_no_wizard.jsp

I have made sure all the directories which need to be writeable are. I have even made everything writeable after it didn't work.

I have also asked the server techie to explicitly enable *.page mapping for me, and he did so.

I have updated forum.link and homepage.link in SystemGlobals.properties to be correct.

Running on Apache and Tomcat and Oracle.

I get the following error.. Any ideas?

Looks like Lucene can't get to write to the index dir, which is specified by the key "lucene.index.write.path" in the file WEB-INF/config/SystemGlobals.properties.

Take a look there.
