Might be a pretty dumb question but when I read about all these big changes (all going to good direction IMO) it makes me wonder whether it'll be possible to just throw JForum 3 installation over old 2.x installation?

I'm planning to start using a forum and JForum is strong candidate, just wanna make sure I don't hit a wall when JForum 3 will eventually be released.

Cheers,

-Marko

There are changes to the database, but I'll provide a migration tool, as always did

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
