Hi,

I configured the SSO, so my users are automatically created in JForum when they log for the first time.
I want to be able to display the agreement page when a user comes for the first time on the forum. How can I do this ?

Thomas

There isn't an easy / built in way to do this. You'd probably have to hack the section of code that gets triggered to create the user, set a flag on the request that this is a new user, and then figure a way to redirect the person to the page. I think others have done stuff like this to get people to the "profile" page to select a screen name, etc.

FWIW, with an SSO implimentation, I would assume that the agreement stuff would be part of what they saw when they created a user id in your "master application". When they access the forum, it's just another part of your site... so why confuse them by pop-ing up an agreement screen.

We will add the forum to our "master application" so we have to tell them to respect some rules and that they can't do what they want. It's not really an agreement, it's a warning.

Thank you for your answer (even if it gives me more work to do ;)).
