I have looked over the feature list of JForum, and it appears that it does not have any integrated "photo gallery" type functionality. Specifically, an area where users can upload pictures and apply metadata tags to the pictures so that they can be searched and grouped.

Assuming I am correct in my assessment, can anybody suggest an open source java based photo gallery software that can be integrated to work with JForum?

I am a Java/J2EE developer/architect, so the integration can be loose at first as long as the software has a decent amount of functionality. I've been over on Sourceforge looking for something that fits the bill but the projects are many and I was hoping somebody here has tackled this same problem.
