Virtual Money

Hi ,

My name is mars. I come from Taiwan. Now I setup a jfoum in my company let every one can discuss in intranet. In order to push people to post, I want set a new function which is "Virtual Money".
Some forums provide the virtual money, for example

1.One post , get 10 dollor
2.On one's birthday , system give the one 100 dollor

something like that.

Do the jforum provide the virtual money module?

Sorry, there is no virtual money module...

But you can give Karma... E.g., people can give karma to other people's answers. This aggregates into a user's "karma rating".

The idea is that good articles get marked with high Karma. Plus, people use a poster's Karma Rating to get an idea of how much to trust the answer given. Sort of a self managed promote yourself to MVP status.

You might be able to translate Karma in to virtual dollars.. or you could look at the implementation use it as a basis for your virtual dollars idea.
