Hello,

I've managed to get our custom SSO implementation working but I was wondering if there is any easy way of disabling the email and password fields.

We have the user being automatically created when they following a link within our application (having already logged in) - it works by having a token that we confirm via our db etc. However we don't want the user being able to update the password/email since it doesn't make sense to do so (their email/password is stored else where).

Any suggestions would be great.

Cheers,

James

Just edit the user_form.htm template file and comment out the sections you don't want. (or change the wording, etc).

Ok, I figured I could do it that way - was wondering if it was a configure option.

I'll do it that way.

Cheers,

James

Keep in mind - i think there's some user action that is dependend on the password, that is - if the password doesnt match the user's password, it will not allow any changes on the profile ...

At least when I last worked with the code it was like that
