Once again, posting on a forum causes the problem to be solved shortly afterwards! For some reason, the web.xml file was not being deployed to the server, and so the servlets had not been set up for the various directories.

----------

Just tried to install a new instance of jforum, and I'm having a problem with the install.jsp file - I'm getting this error message:

The requested resource (/bcug/install/install.page) is not available.

Which seems to be correct - the war file, zip file and source downloads do not contain an install directory as far as I can see. Going to try the manual install for now, but if someone could show me where this directory is, it would help a lot (I'm assuming that as I can't find anyone else asking about this, it must just be me being dense)
