Hello, and thabnk in advance for any help or suggestions.
Looking for help with a new installation.
Went through the manual isntallation. 2.1.8 -MySQL -Resin.
Board looks normal after install. Problem comes when I log in as the Admin user.
I login normally and the home page shows with the 'Admin Control Panel' link displayed in the footer.
I click on the Admin Control Panel link and I just get the login screen again, except it's framed with itelf.
I know I'm describing that poorly so I thought a screenshot might help

If I log in again, I just get the same login page again except framed 3 times now. etc etc etc
Any ideas?

Not sure if it's relevant but it does appear to be accepting the login. If I retrun to the home page I see the header link
"Logout[Admin]"
and I can post as Admin etc.

Any help would be greatly apprecated.
thank you

Sorry for the delay... had a long XMas holiday away from things technical.

No sure what the problem is here. Can you check to see if there are any errors in your log files? E.g., the app server logs, etc.

I assume you are just using jForum's user authentication method and not an SSO one? If not, there might be a problem with your SSO setup.

It might also be a problem with session cookies that are used to tie browsers to webapp sessions. Is your browser opening up a new window for the admin session? Some browsers can be set to not share cookies this way.
