Admin Control Panel - Authentication

Hi
In Jforum we have Admin Control Panel which is accessible by only one guy admin. My question is what is the difference between a moderator and administrator in terms of privilages. Are they created in the same way and do they belong to "Administrator" group?

Moderators do not have to be administrators. You can create a group that is flagged with moderator rights but not admin rights (is Administrator is NO). People in this group will be able to approve/deny new postings, and edit or delete existing posts if that option is there. But NOT see the admin screens.

Note that some moderator rights are "global" rights. Once a person is given them, they apply to all forums and not just a single or group of forums.
