how to give a file name duting run time

hi every body,

i have an file that is stored in the data base and the file name is declared in the code. i want the user to enter the file name and get the contents inside the file.

how to change this? i have tried some thing to change in this code. but it's telling the emulator is forced to close. can any one help here would be of great help indeed. i am in my final stage of my project and need to complete this today. so any one helps would be of great help for my project at this crucial moment.

You can let users enter text by adding an EditText widget to your UI.

As to an app being force closed: every time that happens the stack trace is written to the logcat output; that tells you at which line of your code it happened, and should also include an error message that at least hints at the problem.
