Looking to explore potential developer opportunities primarily using Java technologies.

I've been working as a software engineer for several years, primarily in the health care industry, using Java and a variety of other technologies. I'm looking into other areas of software development where I use my skill set to provide my employer with quality software and problem solving while furthering my growth as a developer. I can quickly adapt to new technologies and have a rapid learning curve and strive to produce excellent results on time and within budget. I have a strong interest in business tier development with focus on improving software quality and performance.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from an accredited university, as well as certifications from Sun/Oracle (SCJP Java 6 and OCMJD Java 6).

Resume in Brief:
-Expert in the Java language, with exposure to a variety of technologies within the ecosystem (Swing, JavaFX, JPA, JavaEE, and more)
-Highly proficient with other languages, such as C#, C, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML...
-Great knowledge of the Eclipse and Netbeans IDEs, as well as Visual Studio, and others.
-N-tier development and design ranging from the data tier to the client tier
-Strong object-oriented design with a focus on agile methodologies
-Excellent communication skills and a great ability to integrate with a team
-5 years professional development experience

I currently reside in Eastern Washington (US), and would be most interested in local opportunities or companies that support remote work.

Please contact me with interest via private message or email, kristoferw at comcast dot net. I will happily provide a full resume on request.

Thank you.
