I like to render dynamic page through tile framwork. I have layout header, body and footer. I like to rend the dynamic page under the body. How do i do it through tile-def configuration file? Do I need to use one action or two?

thanks

On the "one action or two" (or more) question....I normally have one action that gathers the data needed for all the tiles. The processing needed for the common tiles is handled in a base action class. I recall a previous project that I worked on where I was working on one tile that had its own action. I do not recall exactly how that was configured.

Brent,
thanks for the reply. If one of the tiles (header.jsp) has it own action, there will be two requests sent to the same page. How to handle it? is it possible to call an action from another action by using forward?

thanks
