To start, what have you done so far? And what problem are you currently having?

We can't help if we don't know where you are stuck.

I would recommend working on only a piece of this program -- and getting it working first. Doing is all together, or in larger pieces, is not recommended until you get more experienced. For example, you already broke it down into pieces....

1. The prgram must read this txt,
2. and reads all source of pages.
3. Then find between "<image>" and "</image>" text with regex,
4. and this text write to an images.txt file.

How about the first step? Can you write a program that opens the text file, and prints it to the screen (a line at time)?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
