how to send the array from xhtml onclick funtion to javascript?

how to send the array from xhtml to javascript?

This is my requirement .

Displaying the datat in the tabuler format. the second colomn of the each row has an expansion button. on click of this expansion button i need to send the array of values which we get from #{creationdatedmdvo.demandLocation} to javasript. in javascript , these values will be taken and kept into the new row which will be added under the each row whatever row we clicked. The problem is i am not able to send this list to javascript thru onclick funtion of image.
Please help me out..Help would be greatly appreciated.
