JBOSS EAP 5.1.2

hello,
I am beginner for jboss eap 5.1.2 and I want to know more about it so provide me any basic,useful informaton about it.

EAP 5.1.x is based on JBoss AS 5.1.x, so all of the AS documentation should apply. See: http://www.jboss.org/jbossas/docs/5-x
But realize that unlike AS which is unsecure by default, EAP comes secure out-of-the-box. So you will have to immediately deal with security issues. For playing around, you might want to use AS 5.1.0.GA.

And if you are a real beginner, grab the free chapter 1 from JBoss in Action (link below); it'll get you started.

hello,
thanks for your reply,as you said security is by default in jboss eap,what are the different issues related to it?
what if i have to make it nonsecure?

If I recall correctly, the readme file that comes with EAP describes the security settings that were made. So you can undo the ones you want.

Then you can also look on the JBoss wiki at the instructions for how to secure JBoss AS - that will give you some ideas on how to unsecure EAP:
