Hi .. i made a java applet using netbeans ..and used the build option it created 4 files in the dist folder, when i click on the launch.html file it works fine on my machine but when i upload the same on a free domain it gives the error "JNLP file error:launch.jnlp.Please make sure the file exists and check if "codebase" and "href" in the JNLP file are correct. " . is it a problem with the domail ? i used a free domain from webng.

It didn't occur to you at this point, that it would be worth sharing the content of the JNLP, a link to it, or at least the domain, codebase & href?!? It seems you want to play 20 questions. FTR - I don't.

Try validating the version on the server using JaNeLA.
