I'm testing some applets that use netscape.javascript. Everything is fine on firefox/linux, safari/OSX, chrome/win7. But on IE9/win7, using call() throws a JSException(), and calling a java method from js doesn't work, and reports plugin2manager.parentwindowDispose in the console.

I'm not much of a windows user and only touch IE for testing, but I've poured over the security settings, the applet is embedded in an <object> tag with param scriptable, etc. I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with my code, since if I point the same browser at this page:

http://jdk6.java.net/plugin2/liveconnect/

The executable test cases do not work and throw the same errors in the console. Yet looking around online, it seems to me that IE9 should work with LiveConnect. Does anyone know what's up?
