What happened to Gordon? I thought he was also a co-author for this book?

Hi Ken.

Which part of Philly are you from? I grew up in Whitemarsh township.

Gordon had to pull out of the book writing early in the process, was hoping to get back to it but just became super busy, and since Srini stepped in to help and contributed a lot of content, we acknowledged Gordon in the credits instead. He spent (and still spends) time blogging, writing and demonstrating Roo in his Spring courses here at Chariot. He also wrote the STS refcard during that time. You can read his blog at gordondickens.com.

I am in Newtown Square. My employer, Chariot Solutions, is in Fort Washington. Small world!

I had a lot of personal factors going on at the time and had to bow out of the project.

Bummer, I am sure the book is still a great book. But as always, your writing and blog posts really get to great detail and are very easy to read and understand and I am sure that approach would have made the book even better.
