I need to make a database (a couple databases actually) and I think the easiest way to go about explaining this would to just be to explain my goal.

There are 3 things I need to do.

Have a database that stores all of the items in the game. I send a reference number to the database it sends back the data (preferably an item object) this will be used to populate inventories, chests, monster drops e.t.c

Have a database that stores monster data. Same thing with the item inventory.I would like to pass a reference number and have the server send back the corresponding monsters data. (preferably of a premade monster object)

I need to create a user database. This will hold login information, character information, preferences ...etc

All 3 databases will be accessed from client to server. Need to accept multiple queries at a time. As far as scale goes thats really up in the air.

I'm not sure where to start or what direction to look. If anyone knows of what type of database to use and how to go about learning it any info would be appreciated. Thankyou
