I like to develop something similiar to Wolfenstein 3D

Hi,

I like to develop something similiar to Wolfenstein 3D, but i dont know how to start, i see it got some source code in C# but never see in Java, So any suggestion?

You could take a look at JMonkeyEngine. It's a game engine written for Java that will take most of the work out of your hands, and it will help you develop a feeling for how game engines in general work.

Google their homepage and explore their site to find out how to get started.

There is no FAQ or Guide for JMonkey either. But the thing i need is something that simple??? Anyway, thank for help me out.
