Getting local variable names in java

How do I get the names of the variables declared in a method in java..??
I tried using reflection but to no avail..am hoping you guys could help me out?

At runtime? Why would anyone want to do that?

I am doing a project where i require the names of all the variables inside the class...even those declared inside a method..!!

You can't do it with reflection. You may be able to do it by reading the .class file if it was compiled with the -g flag (as in javac -g ...). Even then you'd still need to use a byte code library or remote debugger APIs.
