Web page can't be displayed when new keystore is placed

In one sentence the requirement is to enable https on Tomcat that is hosting only one website.

The browser displays the webpage correctly for the self signed keystore (apart from the warning it gives about the certificate). When I created a new keystore, the browser says that the same page "cannot be found".
On checking the server logs, I found the following error:
