Good day

I am new to mobile application development and currently working on a kanji flash card app for "NOT SO SMART PHONES"
this web site helped me a lot, and now my app is almost finished, but there still a problem,
my app's data such as "english translation" and "hiragana syllabary" was hard coded,
i think it would be better if information like that are stored in a database like file.

I bumped into this "rms" thing, and the way i understand it, its something that is created during runtime and its basic aplication is like a game's save file.
but what i want is something that i can include inside the jar file.

another approach that I'm considering is using text file, it solves the "inside the jar file" issue,
but another problem is that it needs to read the file line by line until it reach the data i want, and that waste some time.

I hope someone can help me, any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

regards
