I started as a developer in 1983, and have held positions such as Head of Securities Finance Technology for the
investment bank Nomura and Global Head of Support for the main settlements system for Barclays Capital.
I have a considerable amount of experience as a developer, project lead/manager & designer. I worked on a trading
floor for 5 years and have strong interpersonal skills.

I've been working on my own development project for the past two years and am now looking for work. I'm based in the
UK and am happy to work abroad.

Particularly if you are starting a JSF project it's possible that I can save you a lot of time. The technologies I've been
working with are as follows:

  • Javaserver Faces (JSF) / Mojarra V2
  • Richfaces V4 & Primefaces
  • Glassfish V3 & clustering
  • Java EE 6
  • Java SE 6/7 (Certified Java programmer)
  • Javascript & jQuery
  • HTML/CSS
  • EJB
  • MySQL 5.5
  • JPA/Eclipselink
  • JSF custom components
  • JSF composite components
  • Contexts & dependency injection (CDI)
  • Myfaces CODI
  • Paypal integration - direct payments API & instant payment notification
  • Google maps API integration
  • JSF file upload
  • JAVA container security
  • Servlets & filters

  • I'm fairly active on the richfaces forum https://community.jboss.org/en/richfaces?view=discussions and have a
strong level of expertise with this component framework. Please send me a PM if you would like to discuss this further.

    Regards,

    Brendan Healey.
