Struts2 Play audio file

Hi,
I have written following code to play audio file. It is neither showing any error message nor playing the mp3 song.

import java.io.File;
import javax.media.Format;
import javax.media.Manager;
import javax.media.MediaLocator;
import javax.media.Player;
import javax.media.PlugInManager;
import javax.media.format.AudioFormat;
import javax.servlet.ServletContext;

import org.apache.struts2.ServletActionContext;

public class AudioHome {
		
	public String playSong(String song){
		ServletContext servletContext = ServletActionContext.getServletContext();
        String dataDir = servletContext.getRealPath("");
		Format input1 = new AudioFormat(AudioFormat.MPEGLAYER3);
		Format input2 = new AudioFormat(AudioFormat.MPEG);
		Format output = new AudioFormat(AudioFormat.LINEAR);
		PlugInManager.addPlugIn(
			"com.sun.media.codec.audio.mp3.JavaDecoder",
			new Format[]{input1, input2},
			new Format[]{output},
			PlugInManager.CODEC
		);
		try{
			System.out.println("DATADIR ::  "+dataDir);
			Player player = Manager.createPlayer(new MediaLocator(new File(dataDir+"/"+song+".mp3").toURI().toURL()));
			System.out.println("player : "+player.toString());
			player.start();
		}

I'm calling the above class from jsp file as below :

AudioHome ah=new AudioHome();
ah.playSong("1");

can anybody help me why its not getting played?

Struts and JSP code run on the server, so I'm not sure your code even does what you want it to do (not to mention using Java code in JSP's is a Bad Idea).
If you want to play a file for the user through the browser, you should probably look at the java.applet.Applet play() method.
