converting voice into text is possible with java?  RSS feed

hello

im new in java. i want to make a application in JAVA to convert a voice(an english lang.) into a text file. the action should happen at the same time when im speaking,
i need to know how i can do this with java.
please suggest me any easy way to do it with java.

You can try to build one using Java Speech Recognition API.
Also I found some replies to your question on this forum.

In fact googling might help a bit.

I agree that Google is always a good first step. However, if you're new to Java, I wouldn't say speech-to-text conversion is an ideal place to start. "Hello, world!" is more traditional.
